In the combat training ranges, the frigate launched Kalibr cruise missiles at sea and air targets, performed a series of artillery firings, attacked a simulated enemy submarine with torpedoes and depth charges, hit an air target with Dagger anti-aircraft missiles, and performed electronic jamming. The crews of the Ka-27 anti-submarine and rescue helicopters checked the updated aircraft complex of the ship. The pilots of the naval aviation of the Pacific Fleet successfully performed flights from the deck of the frigate on the stop and on the move.
Repairs with the modernization of the frigate were carried out on the basis of the Ship Repair Center "Dalzavod" in Vladivostok. The ship's bottom and outboard fittings were repaired, and new equipment was installed. As part of the modernization, more than 40% of the housing structures were dismantled and re-manufactured according to the designer's drawings, and 80% of the main cable routes were replaced. The upgraded ship, in addition to anti-submarine and anti-aircraft systems, received modern Kalibr-NK and Uran attack missile systems, as well as the latest artillery and electronic weapons.
