They congratulated the sailors on the successful completion of the tasks of the long-distance campaign and their return home.
The Commander-in-Chief of the Navy noted that the frigates of this project are the most modern warships of Russia and will become the first full-time carriers of hypersonic missile weapons, the tests of which will be completed this year by the lead frigate of the project 22350 "Admiral of the Fleet of the Soviet Union Gorshkov".
The Commander of the Northern Fleet highly appreciated the professionalism and training of the crew and the commander of the ship – captain 2nd rank Alexey Ryaboshtan, for whom the completed long-distance campaign was the first in his commanding career.
The long-range cruise of the newest Russian frigate began on December 30 last year. For more than two months, the ship operated in the Mediterranean Sea, visited the ports of Algeria, Greece, Egypt, Cyprus, Syria and Turkey, and conducted a series of exercises in a single order and in cooperation with other ships and aircraft of the Russian Navy. At the final stage of the campaign, the frigate took part in an interspecific command and staff exercise to resolve crisis situations in the Arctic, which was held under the overall leadership of the Commander-in-Chief of the Russian Navy, Admiral Nikolai Evmenov.
During the long voyage, the ship has passed more than 22 thousand nautical miles. Together with the frigate, the rescue tug "Nikolai Chiker" and the medium sea tanker "Vyazma" operated, which arrived at their home points a week earlier, the press service of the Northern Fleet reports.
