MOSCOW, April 25 / Radio Sputnik. Employees of the Saratov artillery center demonstrated shooting from the Tornado-G MLRS without manual guidance, the Zvezda TV channel reports.
The military told reporters that the driver is firing by pressing a button, after sending the coordinates of the target to the control car.
The driver also determines the number of missiles used in each specific case of missiles.
The complete set of MLRS consists of 40 122-mm shells. One calculation covers an area of 400 square meters. The approach time of the projectiles is 15 seconds.
In 2014, the Tornado-G MLRS replaced the Grad installations in the Russian army.
