For the first time, Roscosmos refused to launch a satellite to a customer due to the maximum load of production facilities. This is reported by RIA Novosti with reference to the general director of the organization Dmitry Rogozin.
"When we suddenly had the opportunity to launch another spacecraft this year, for the first time in recent years we had to refuse the customer, because we physically have production capacity, they are at the limit," Rogozin said.
It is noted that in 2021, an active launch program is planned for Soyuz missiles under a contract with OneWeb. On April 26, it is planned to launch from the Vostochny cosmodrome, from there two more launches will take place later, then four from Baikonur. The only commercial launch of the Soyuz rocket outside the program will take place on December 8 with space tourists on board.
Earlier, Dmitry Rogozin said that the first (basic) module of the new Russian space station will be ready for launch in 2025. The creator of the new module, he called the Rocket and Space Corporation (RSC) "Energy", which"set the task in 2025 to ensure its readiness to launch into the target orbit."
