TSAMTO, April 23. The logistics support units of the Central Military District (CVO) will deliver more than two and a half thousand tons of cargo for various purposes to remote garrisons of the Russian Defense Ministry.
The cargo will be sent to the Arctic, remote areas of Siberia and the Far East as part of the northern delivery. Delivery will be carried out by rail, sea and river transport.
The northern delivery of materiel allows units and military units to operate almost offline for a year until the next navigation in May.
Currently, the accumulation of cargo is being carried out, the delivery of which is scheduled to begin on June 1, 2021, the press service of the Western Military District reports.
