Vladivostok. April 23. INTERFAX-FAR EAST-Two naval anti-submarine strike groups of the Pacific Fleet (TOF) attacked a submarine of a simulated enemy in the Sea of Japan during an exercise, the press service of the fleet reported.
The anti-submarine exercise was conducted as part of a control check for the winter training period.
"The tactical groups included the corvettes "Perfect" and "Loud", as well as the small anti-submarine ships "Sovetskaya Gavan" and "Blizzard". In the Gulf of Peter the Great, they worked out practical tasks to search for and attack a submarine of a simulated enemy with the use of anti-submarine weapons, " the report says.
As a conditional enemy, a large diesel submarine of the Pacific Fleet acted. It carried out covert maneuvering in the area of the exercise.
