In the Leningrad region, the calculations of unmanned aerial vehicles of the combined-arms army of the Western Military District (ZVO), as part of a control check for the winter training period, worked out tasks to search for command posts of a conditional enemy.
Calculations of the Orlan-10 UAV conducted reconnaissance of five specified areas, carried out photo and video recording of the area, found the enemy command posts and transmitted their exact coordinates.
During the tasks, the servicemen also improved their skills in deploying complexes and using the devices on unfamiliar terrain at night.
In total, more than 60 military personnel and about 20 units of military and special equipment were involved in the control check.
