The American long-range unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) MQ-4 Triton was able to scout the situation near Voronezh. This follows from the visualization of the drone's capabilities provided by the Telegram channel "Military Informant ."
As the channel notes, the MQ-4 Triton is equipped with an AN/SPY-3 three-axis X-band active phased array (AFAR) radar. Thanks to it, it can detect moving targets both on the ground and on the water, as well as "draw" their contours at a range of 250 kilometers and with a viewing angle of 360 degrees.
Thus, this drone, flying over the territory of the Donbass and Georgia, as well as over the Black Sea near the Russian borders, is able to monitor the situation in a number of regions of Russia. In particular, the Belgorod and Voronezh regions, part of the Rostov Region, Krasnodar and Stavropol Territories, Adygea, Dagestan, North Ossetia, Kabardino-Balkaria, Karachay-Cherkessia and part of Chechnya fall into its "field of view".
In addition, the MQ-4 Triton can receive data on what is happening in a number of coastal areas of Turkey, as well as on the territory of Armenia and Azerbaijan.
Earlier in April , it was reported that Russia and the United States began reconnaissance near the Donbass. So, the high-altitude drone RQ-4A Global Hawk of the Air Force (Air Force) The United States was spotted during a reconnaissance flight along the line of contact in the Donbas, and a Russian Tu-214ON surveillance aircraft was spotted in the Taganrog area.
