The vessel, named in honor of hydrographer Alexander Anishchenko, will be the fifth large hydrographic boat of the project 19920 "Cormorant"in the Pacific Fleet. The boats of this project are designed for hydrographic and pilotage work in the coastal zone, and can also deliver people and cargo to the unequipped coast.
The Alexander Anishchenko was laid down in Blagoveshchensk on July 1, 2019 and launched in August 2020. It differs from its "brothers" in the 19920 project by more modern electronic equipment: a three-beam echo sounder is installed on the ship, thanks to which you can study the bottom relief, as well as a navigation system that can automatically plot a course.
The boat has a displacement of 320 tons, a length of 36.4 m, a width of 7.6 m, a speed of 11 knots, a cruising range of 1000 miles, and an autonomy of 10 days. The ship's crew will consist of 11 people.
