TSAMTO, April 12. A new batch of 20 Uran-9 attack robots will soon be transferred to JSC 766 Production and Technological Equipment Management (UPTK) to the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation.
This was reported to the Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation, General of the Army Sergei Shoigu on April 9 during a visit to the enterprise where robotic systems for various purposes are developed and produced.
The next batch of five Uran-9 attack robotic systems has been released and is ready for transfer to the troops at JSC 766 UPTK. Each complex includes one control point mounted on the basis of a KamAZ vehicle, and four combat vehicles. The delivery will be completed soon.
Earlier it was reported that in January, five Uran-9 complexes were delivered to the Russian Armed Forces, including, respectively, 20 combat vehicles, and two more robots separately.
The armament of the Uran-9 consists of a 30-mm automatic cannon, anti-tank guided missiles "Ataka", as well as flamethrowers "Bumblebee", according to the Department of Information and Mass Communications of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.
