Moscow. April 10. INTERFAX-A detachment of Russian ships is heading to the Atlantic, currently it is in one of the bays of the Mediterranean Sea in anticipation of improving weather conditions, the Baltic Fleet said on Saturday.
The detachment consists of the corvette "Stoyky", the tanker" Kola", the sea tug" Yakov Grebelsky " and the floating workshop PM-82.
"Currently, a detachment of ships of the Baltic Fleet is located in one of the bays of the Mediterranean, where in the coming days, due to difficult weather conditions, a detachment of ships and support vessels of the Baltic Fleet will have to expect an improvement in the weather. After that, the detachment will continue to move, " the fleet said in a statement.
On April 8, the detachment left for the Mediterranean Sea from the Syrian port of Tartus, where the Russian Navy base is located.
