Hong Kong. April 7. INTERFAX-North Korea has moved a submerged missile test bench to a shipyard on its east coast, the project of the think tank center for Strategic and International Studies Beyond Parallel reported on Wednesday.
"The Maxar Technologies satellite image obtained at 11:09 am ET today shows North Korea moving its barge with a submerged missile test stand located at the south Sinpo shipyard," the experts said.
It is noted that the barge left the protected boat pool and went to the floating dry dock. However, this does not indicate an imminent missile test, as no missile containers were visible on board the barge.
According to experts, among the probable reasons for this maneuver - preparation for the upcoming test of a submarine-launched ballistic missile (SLBM), moving the test bed for maintenance, repair or installation of equipment.
