Shooting down anti-tank guided missiles and rocket-propelled grenades RPG Ukrainian complex of active protection "Zaslon" was officially adopted by the Armed Forces of Ukraine more than 10 years ago.
This KAZ was advertised at various international exhibitions, and in October 2013 it was shown at the Yavoriv training ground to the then President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych.

KAZ "Zaslon" on T-64BV
However, there were no mass purchases during this time. They did not buy it even during the operation against the People's Republics of Donbass, when Ukrainian tank units suffered significant losses in equipment.
The point, probably, is not only that the military department of Nezalezhnaya is constantly experiencing problems in financing, but also that the "Barrier" itself is far from perfect.
However, not finding recognition at home, the creators of the complex were able to sell it to Turkey, where they managed to bring to mind and establish mass production of this product, which received the local designation AKKOR Pulat. It was received by about fifty M60TM, which were used during the fighting in Syria. However, due to the fact that combat aircraft were involved against these tanks, using guided bombs, the effectiveness of the KAZ was not confirmed.

Turkish M60TM with Pulat
Nevertheless, the Turkish military-industrial complex is ready to continue to equip such protection not only for its armored vehicles, but also to export them. Given the close military-technical relations between Turkey and Ukraine, it is possible that some number of T-64, T-72 and T-80 APU will also receive these Pulat, perhaps this will happen in the near future. Therefore, the corps command must take this possibility into account when planning defensive actions.
