TSAMTO, March 23. The construction of a large hydrographic boat (BGC) of project 23370G, commissioned by the Russian Navy, continues at the KAMPO shipbuilding plant near Moscow.
Currently, the formation of the hull of the boat is being completed. The cabins of the first and second tiers are formed, in which electrical installation and interior work is carried out. Installation of systems is carried out.
In June 2021, it is planned to send the modules of the boat to the place of completion, launching and conducting all types of tests.
By order of the Commander-in-Chief of the Russian Navy, Admiral Nikolai Evmenov, dated January 30, 2021, the specified boat was assigned the actual name "Grigory Shadrin" to perpetuate the memory of the Honored hydrographer Grigory Ilyich Shadrin, who made a significant contribution to the development and maintenance of navigation and hydrographic support for the actions of the Navy forces and the safety of navigation, the Department of Information and Mass Communications of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation reports.
