The small missile ship "Vyshny Volochek" of the Black Sea Fleet (Black Sea Fleet) is returning to Sevastopol from the Mediterranean Sea and is now passing through the Bosphorus, RIA Novosti reports with reference to the information support department of the Black Sea Fleet.
The crew of the Vyshny Volochok served as part of the permanent formation of the Russian Navy in the Mediterranean since November 2020. It has already been replaced by the small rocket ship "Orekhovo-Zuyevo".
The small missile ships Vyshny Volochyok and Orekhovo-Zuyevo have been part of the Black Sea Fleet since 2018.
The displacement of the MRK project 21631 is 949 tons with a length of 75 meters and a width of 11 meters. The maximum speed is 25 knots. The range of navigation is 2500 miles, the autonomy is 10 days. Crew – 52 people.
Earlier, Sputnik radio reported that Russia conducted exercises to destroy a potential enemy ship in the Black Sea.
