Small missile ships of the Baltic Fleet conducted large-scale shooting at air, sea and coastal targets.
As part of the exercise, the crews of the two MKR first repelled the attack of the simulated enemy aircraft, which attacked from different heights and directions.
Special light targets were used to ensure shooting. The fire on them was conducted from the ship's AK-176MA and AK-630M complexes.
Then "Sovetsk" and "Mytishchi" worked out the tasks of shooting floating mines-using 30-millimeter artillery systems, the head of the information support department of the press service of the Western Military District for the Baltic Fleet, Captain 1st rank Roman Martov, told the Military-Industrial Courier.
And at the end of the exercises, specialists of missile and artillery combat units struck cruise missiles at sea and coastal targets, performing electronic launches.
