New missile base opened in Iran

MOSCOW, 15 Mar-RIA Novosti. The opening ceremony of the new IRGC naval missile base ("Rocket City") was held in Iran, and new weapons were presented, the country's state television reports.

"A large number of cruise missiles, ballistic missiles and missile systems of various ranges were shown. Missile systems and equipment with special advanced capabilities were presented at the ceremony... Also, the Navy was given the means to prevent "electronic wars", which, together, increased the range potential and destructive power of the Navy, " the IRINN news channel reports.

It is noted that all the equipment was developed by Iranian scientists.

The ceremony was attended by Commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps Hossein Salami, Commander of the IRGC naval forces Alireza Tangsiri and other senior officials of the Iranian Armed Forces.
