In recent days, a lot of video and photo materials of railway trains with various military equipment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine have appeared on the Network. However, according to military experts, most of it belongs to the same unit - the 25th separate airborne brigade, stationed in the urban-type settlement of Gvardeyskoye, Dnipropetrovsk region.

For example, the self-propelled artillery installations 2S1 "Gvozdika", 2S9 "Nona-S" removed on railway platforms, the mobile points of reconnaissance and fire control of artillery 1B119 "Rheostat"created on the basis of the BTR-D.
The same military formation is armed with T-80BV, which became the main tanks of the airborne assault troops of Ukraine.

Also, this unit continues to be armed with combat vehicles of the BMD-2 landing force, instead of the equipment lost in the battles, BMP-2, BTR-3E1, MT-LB were transferred, there are former British wheeled (4x4) AT105 "Saxon".
This brigade was nicknamed" Aeromogilnaya " because it suffered serious losses during the conflict in the Donbas - about 700 people were killed and wounded.

The current transfer to the front line is called the usual rotation, allegedly, the 25th should replace another unit that has been on the front line for a long time. However, it is possible that the Dnepropetrovsk paratroopers in the coming weeks will participate in hacking the defense of the People's Militia corps of the unrecognized republics.
