TSAMTO, March 3. In the Trans-Baikal Territory, military personnel of the VVO control unit are learning to use the unmanned aircraft complex (BAC) "Granat-1"during practical training sessions.
Earlier, they were trained in the basics of using a drone in one of the training centers of the Ministry of Defense.
The development of the aviation complex is carried out within the framework of field exercises with test flights at various altitudes in a given area. At the same time, the training takes place with the operators performing practical tasks for monitoring the environment, as well as searching and classifying ground objects.
The unmanned aircraft complex "Granat-1" is a means of unmanned aircraft of the aircraft type and is designed for remote monitoring, retransmission and conducting aerial reconnaissance using installed photo and video equipment.
The UAV is designed in accordance with the "flying wing" scheme made of composite materials. It has high speed characteristics with a relatively small mass, the press service of the Eastern Military District reports.
