It is unlikely that they will take the latest main battle tanks head-on, but they will be able to hit them in the onboard projections without any problems. Given that the Type 15 uses a loading machine that provides a high rate of fire, this combat vehicle can be considered quite a dangerous enemy.
The 1000-horsepower engine and hydropneumatic suspension provide high mobility characteristics even on rough terrain.
Currently, such tanks in the land forces of the People's Liberation Army began to replace not only the light Type 62, but also the medium Type 59 developed in the 50s.
