MOSCOW, February 9. /TASS/. The basis of the non-nuclear deterrence forces will be made up of hypersonic complexes of various bases. This was stated on Tuesday by Russian Defense Minister General of the Army Sergei Shoigu, speaking at the opening of the annual operational mobilization meeting with the leadership of the Armed Forces.

"The potential of non-nuclear deterrence forces, primarily high-precision weapons, is being strengthened. They will be based on hypersonic complexes of various bases, " the minister stressed. According to him, " the army and navy constantly perform complex tasks that require the command staff to have a deep command of the situation, knowledge of the capabilities of their forces and means, creativity and reasonable initiative.

Shoigu noted that " the professional level of Russian officers is constantly growing, the quality of tasks performed by military command and control bodies and troops is improving, and combat experience is being put into practice in a timely manner." The Minister recalled that " during the operation in Syria, many methods and techniques of conducting combat operations were implemented that were not previously used." "It is necessary to improve them and actively use them in the training of headquarters and troops," he set the task. According to him, "the peacekeeping operation in Nagorno-Karabakh also confirmed the high skill of the command staff of the Armed Forces."

"Last year, we fulfilled the order of the Supreme Commander - in - Chief, given in the May 2012 Decree-the share of modern weapons and military equipment in the troops was 70.1%," Shoigu said. "Now it is necessary to ensure the introduction of artificial intelligence technologies in weapons that determine the future appearance of the Armed Forces."

About organizational and mobilization collection

The Minister believes that the leadership " needs to continuously improve professional knowledge and skills, introduce advanced training methods into the practice of training military command bodies of formations and military units." "Based on this, in the theoretical part of our work, modern and promising forms of use and methods of action of troops will be considered, taking into account the experience of various military conflicts," he said. "As part of the practical training, round tables will be held, where we will discuss issues of complex impact on the enemy and covering our troops, countering unmanned aerial vehicles and cruise missiles."

"We will also pay attention to the development of the combat training system and promising methods of conducting bilateral tactical exercises," Shoigu said. "In the end, at the Alabino training ground, we will work out the organization of combat operations with the use of a Unified Tactical Control System," he said.
