Thanks to the automated control system, the new Russian fifth-generation fighter is able to perform tasks with minimal pilot involvement. Earlier, we recall, there was unofficial information about the development of an unmanned mode on the Su-57 aircraft.
Experts have long said that in the future, air combat will be extremely short-lived and pilots will have to make difficult decisions in a short period of time. Given the huge array of data from different systems that they have to deal with, the task becomes very non-trivial. Therefore, the developers of aircraft technology are doing everything possible to simplify the work of pilots.
Russia is no exception. As reported by TASS with reference to the magazine "New Horizons", the fifth-generation fighter Su-57 received the highest possible degree of automation, which minimizes the participation of the pilot in the control of the aircraft. "Theoretically, a pilot after taking off and before landing can not engage in piloting at all, but search for and attack targets. Moreover, this process is also sufficiently automated, "the agency quotes the words of Nikita Dorofeev, head of the cabin department of the Sukhoi Design Bureau of the Sukhoi Company.
Among other things, the pilot's work is simplified by "intelligent support technology". It is also known that the machine has large multifunctional displays that display all the important information. They are significantly more convenient than those installed on the fourth-generation fighters: not counting the latest ones, which are also equipped with modern displays.
Recall that last year there was information that the Su-57 fighter began working out an unmanned flight mode. The tests involved one of the prototypes of the winged machine. The pilot was in the cockpit during the tests, but only controlled the flight. There was no official confirmation of this.
Recently, the Su-57 has passed another important stage of its life: the first (de facto second) production car was delivered to the Russian Aerospace Forces. In total, according to the contract signed in 2018, 76 such vehicles should be handed over to the military with the delivery of the final part of the batch at the end of the decade.

We can not exclude new purchases of the aircraft: apparently, additional fifth-generation fighters will initially be purchased in a new version, with the so-called second-stage engine. Earlier, it began to be tested on one of the prototypes of the aircraft.
