TSAMTO, February 3. The army aviation regiment of the Southern Military District, based in the Rostov region, received 7 new Ka-52 Alligator combat helicopters. In the near future, the first scheduled flights of the Alligators will take place under the combat training program.
The helicopters were transported in disassembled form by IL-76 military transport aircraft from the manufacturer's territory to the military airfield, where their final assembly is being carried out.
Pilots who do not have experience in operating Ka-52 helicopters will be trained at the Center for Combat Training and Retraining of Flight Personnel of the Army Aviation of the Russian Defense Ministry.
