According to the TV channel, the corresponding maneuvers, during which the overloads in the cockpit reached 7g, were carried out in the Chelyabinsk region as part of the training of pilots.
In January 2020, Izvestia reported that the Russian Aerospace Forces (VKS) will receive a Su-34 with the HBO index ("New Capabilities"), created on the basis of combat experience in Syria. According to the newspaper, the aircraft, whose deliveries to the VKS will begin this year, will be equipped, in addition to updated avionics and weapons, with universal reconnaissance containers (UKR) created as part of the Sych development work. The publication assures that the UKR, executed in three versions (radio-technical UKR-RT, optoelectronic UKR-OE and radar UKR-RL), will radically enhance the ability of the Su-34 HVO to detect ground and air targets.
