Russia will present its latest developments - aircraft equipment, air defense systems, armored vehicles, and ammunition-at the international exhibition in India. The largest international aerospace and defense industry air show, Aero India 2021, starts on February 3 in Bangalore.
In total, Russia will present more than 200 samples of military products at the exhibition.
As Viktor Kladov, Director for International Cooperation and Regional Policy of the Russian Technologies State Corporation, told TASS in an interview, an export version of the latest Su-57E aircraft will be demonstrated at Aero India 2021, among other things.
"We brought a model of the aircraft to India, which gives an idea of this unique fighter," Kladov explained.
He noted that in many countries, interest in this aircraft is high, because it has unique combat properties and flight characteristics.
In addition, according to the representative of Rostec, the exhibition will also feature other Russian "bestsellers" -Su-35, MiG-35D, military transport IL-76MD-90A( E), tanker aircraft IL-78MK-90A. Kladov noted that Russian helicopters are also of interest to foreign partners. So, in India, the Ka-226T light multi-purpose helicopter will be presented, which is considered an ideal machine for local climatic and physical-geographical conditions.
"I am sure that our other helicopters will also attract great attention: the Mi-28NE, Mi-171Sh and Mi-17V-5, the Ka-52 combat reconnaissance and attack helicopter, as well as the Ka-31 radar patrol helicopter," the Rostec representative said.
If we talk about ground equipment, then a number of "premieres"are expected in this segment. So, for the first time abroad, the K-16 armored personnel carrier and the K-17 infantry fighting vehicle on the promising Boomerang wheeled platform will be demonstrated.
The Boomerang platform was developed on the instructions of the Russian Defense Ministry. As noted by Kladov, it has the highest combat and operational characteristics.
"The uniqueness of the platform is the ability to create on its basis machines of a wide range of applications with various weapons and equipment, "said the representative of Rostec.
Also on Aero India will exhibit cars of the Typhoon family and a protected ambulance "Lens".
The Pantsir-S1 anti-aircraft system, which is popular abroad, will also be shown in India.
In Russia, the engine for light helicopters was tested
According to Anatoly Serdyukov, industrial director of the Rostec aviation cluster, the engine was started the first time during the test tests. "The expected performance during the first launch has been confirmed. This is the beginning of a long road that we have to go very quickly, " Serdyukov stressed.
The power plant for light helicopters was launched at the UEC-Klimov test stand in St. Petersburg. It is planned to certify the engine by 2023.
The VK-650V engine has a take-off power of 650 horsepower. First of all, it is designed for light Ka-226T helicopters. At the same time, the engine modifications can be installed on the Ansat-U, VRT-500 and foreign light helicopters. One of the" chips " of the engine is that it is about 12 percent printed on a 3D printer.
Experts recognized the superiority of the Russian Mi-28NM helicopter over the Apache.
