Three more ships of the Buyan-M project, which are supposed to be equipped with Kalibr-NK complexes, are under construction, Renat Mistakhov, General Director of Ak Bars Shipbuilding Corporation, said on Saturday during the flag-raising ceremony on the new Grayvoron Black Sea Fleet ship in Sevastopol.
"We are trusted to build such ships. This is the ninth ship of the series and three more ships are under construction, " Mistakhov said.
The small missile ships of Project 21631, which have been under construction since 2010 for the Russian Navy, are multi-purpose ships of the river - sea class. They are equipped with the most modern models of artillery, missile and radio equipment, including the Kalibr-NK missile system.
