Repair of the diesel-electric submarine of the Black Sea Fleet "Alrosa" is planned to be completed by the end of 2021.
- The technical readiness of the ship is now 80 percent. The submarine is undergoing repairs with elements of modernization, " a representative of the 13th ship Repair Plant in Sevastopol told TASS.
The repair of the Bora hovercraft is also being completed, and the Ladny patrol ship, the Azov, Orsk and Yamal landing ships are in operation at the 13th SRZ. Repair of ships and vessels for the Russian Navy is carried out under a contract with the Ministry of Defense.
The diesel-electric submarine " Alrosa "is the only representative of the project 877" Halibut", equipped with a water jet engine instead of a propeller. The modification received the index 877B and became the quietest of the ships of its class. During the modernization, Alrosa will be able to use Kalibr cruise missiles.
The submarine was filmed in a number of films: "First Strike" with "Jackie Chan", "72 meters", "At all latitudes".
