TSAMTO, January 15. In the Bologovsky missile connection of the Strategic Missile Forces in the Tver region, a remote mine-clearing vehicle MDR "Listva"was received.
The vehicle is designed to detect mine-explosive devices with metal elements and destroy engineering ammunition and improvised explosive devices with electronic components.
The clearance of mine-explosive devices with electronic components is provided by electromagnetic radiation, while the electronic components of the fuses are disabled and blocked or they are detonated.
Previously, this technology was not used to eliminate explosive devices at a distance. The Listva electronics can detect mines and land mines at a distance of up to 100 m.
The machine was created specifically for the Strategic Missile Forces and proved its effectiveness during command and staff exercises with the Novosibirsk, Tagil and Teikovsky missile formations equipped with the Yars PGRK.
Calculations MDR "Foliage" are equipped with the latest sets of mine clearance. The suits used by the calculation have improved protective characteristics compared to previous models, as they were created using particularly strong materials, according to the Department of Information and Mass Communications of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.
