Crews of the Baltic Fleet detachment will conduct routine inspections of ships and vessels
KALININGRAD, January 9. /TASS/. A detachment of ships of the Baltic Fleet consisting of the corvette "Stoyky", the medium sea tanker" Kola "and the sea tug" Yakov Grebelsky", which is in a planned long-distance campaign, made a business call in the Syrian port of Tartus, the press service of the fleet reported on Saturday.
"During the business call to Tartus, the crews of the Baltic Fleet detachment will conduct routine inspections of ships and vessels, replenish fuel, water and food supplies. The port will organize the rest of the crews after a long sea crossing, " the press service said.
In the near future, the corvette "Stoyky" and support vessels will work out a number of training tasks as part of the permanent task force of the Navy in the Mediterranean Sea. Then the detachment of ships of the Baltic Fleet will continue to perform tasks in accordance with the long-distance campaign plan.
