Moscow. January 4. INTERFAX - The development of advanced means of protection against radiation, chemical and biological contamination will be completed within a year, the Department of Information and Mass Communications of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation reported.
"In the coming year, it is planned to complete the development of advanced means of individual and collective protection, their acceptance for supply to the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation and delivery to the troops," the information Department said.
According to the ministry, this is a combined-arms filter protective kit OFZK, an isolating-filtering breathing apparatus IFDA, an isolating breathing apparatus for crews of armored objects IP-7, a universal filter-ventilation kit for military fortifications FVK-200U.
"These developments will ensure the safety of troops (forces) when operating in conditions of radiation, chemical and biological contamination," the department said.
