The Russian military began to receive the engineering system of remote mining (isdm) "Agriculture", intended for installation by means of programmable ammunition of minefields, reports "rostec".
In the statement of the state Corporation, it is noted that this isdm uses ammunition with a solid fuel engine. "The technique allows you to register the coordinates of their fall on an electronic map and transmit data to a higher level of management," Rostec said in a statement.
In October, Izvestia, citing sources in the defense Ministry, reported that tests of the "Agriculture" system, which received the name "reactive minefield"in the army, had been completed in Russia.
In September, Zvezda published a video in which military personnel of the southern military district stopped the breakthrough of tanks of the conditional enemy with a "fire shaft" at the Ashuluk training ground as part of the Caucasus-2020 exercises.
Structurally, "Agriculture" is based on an eight-wheeled armored chassis of "KAMAZ", on which two packages of 25 missiles equipped with mines are mounted. The system also includes a transport-loading vehicle and containers with missiles.
