In the data published in the newspaper "Red star", it is said that during this time, more than 700 objects were also built in the Arctic and more than 800 objects of the mooring front.
In addition, the number of contract soldiers in the Russian army is revealed-384.1 thousand people.
Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin at the Board of the defense Ministry instructed the military Department to ensure high combat readiness of all components of the Russian nuclear triad.
"In 2020, the state defense planning for the next five years was completed. In the course of this work, all existing and projected threats to Russia's security, as well as the growing combat capabilities of our army and Navy, are taken into account. The main conclusion is obvious - we will continue to actively and qualitatively develop the Armed forces, increase their combat readiness and efficiency. In this regard, I instruct you to focus on solving the following tasks, " the President said at an expanded meeting of the Board of the Russian defense Ministry on Monday.
"The first is to maintain high combat readiness of the nuclear forces, all components of the nuclear triad. This is fundamentally important in order to guarantee the security of our country and maintain strategic parity in the world, " Putin said.
The President stressed that Russia's approaches " in this area are purely defensive in nature and are set out in the document "on the basics of nuclear deterrence" adopted in 2020.
