Corvette "Gremyashchy" will be transferred to the Navy before the end of the year
Moscow. December 18. INTERFAX-Russian Deputy Defense Minister Alexey Krivoruchko, during a working trip to St. Petersburg, checked the progress of the state defense order at the Severnaya Verf shipyard.
"Currently, the construction of six frigates of Project 22350, five corvettes of projects 20380, 20385 and 20386, and a logistics support vessel of Project 23120 continues at the Severnaya Verf shipyard under contracts with the Ministry of Defense," the Russian Defense Ministry said in a statement on Friday.
Krivoruchko inspected several ships on the completed embankment of the plant and heard a report on the results of state tests of the lead corvette of project 20385 "Gremyashchy", as well as on the construction of the logistics support vessel 23120"Vsevolod Bobrov".
"We expect that the corvette" Gremyashchy "will be transferred to the Russian Navy this year, and the delivery of the logistics support vessel" Vsevolod Bobrov " will take place in the first half of 2021.
