The crew of the newest Corvette project 20385 "Gremyashchy", undergoing state tests in the Baltic sea, successfully completed rocket and artillery firing at a target rocket.
This was reported in the information support Department of the press service of the Baltic sea fleet. The Corvette is undergoing the final stage of state tests at the Baltic fleet's sea test site in the Kaliningrad region.
Firing was carried out by a sea-based anti-aircraft missile system "Redut", AK-190 and AK-630 artillery installations on a target missile simulating an anti-ship cruise missile of a simulated enemy. In this capacity, a missile fired from the Baltic fleet's R-257 missile boat was used.
The shooting was carried out in a difficult jamming environment, the "enemy" used electronic countermeasures. This did not prevent successfully hitting the target launched from the" Rattling " anti-aircraft missiles and heavy artillery fire.
Earlier, the ship's crew fired Kalibr and Onyx cruise missiles at coastal and sea targets in the White sea, and artillery and torpedo firing in the Barents sea.
New equipment for the Russian and foreign navies is constantly being tested in the sea ranges of the Baltic fleet. Tests are provided by ships, support vessels, rescue forces and marine aviation of the BF. This time, more than ten ships and vessels of the fleet provided test missile firing. They participated in the closure of the shooting area and the launch of a target rocket, this range was closed to civilian navigation.
