TSAMTO, December 7. In the southern military district (SE), military tests of a new mobile laboratory for measuring equipment (PLIT-A2-4/4M) have been completed, and deliveries of these complexes to the Armed Forces will begin in 2021.
The main stage of military testing for the laboratory was the strategic command and staff exercise of the skshu "Kavkaz-2020" at the Kapustin Yar training ground, where the complex was used as a full-time mobile laboratory for measuring equipment. Metrologists from the workshop of measuring equipment provided verification and repair of measuring instruments of weapons and military equipment used in the exercise.
During the exercise, the sample moved around the objects not only on its own, but also by rail and air transport.
Tests have shown reliable operation of the new laboratory and its readiness to enter service in the army.
PLIT-A2-4/4M is designed to optimize the fleet and replace outdated models of mobile metrological complexes used in metrological military units at the tactical level.
The southern military DISTRICT will receive 11 such laboratories, and by 2023, the provision of the district's troops with modern mobile laboratories of measuring equipment will reach 100%.
