The crew of the Baltic fleet's patrol ship Yaroslav the Wise conducted routine firing exercises at combat training ranges in the Baltic sea off the coast of the Kaliningrad region.
As reported in the information support Department of the press service of the Baltic fleet, the crew worked out tasks for conducting a sea battle. Electronic launches were performed on a group of ships and air targets of the simulated enemy by the main attack weapon of the TFR-the Uranus missile system and air defense systems.
During the exercise, the crew of the Yaroslav the Wise also practiced setting up electronic jamming, fighting for the ship's survivability on the move, passing narrowness and swimming in conditions of limited visibility, and performed a number of anti-submarine and anti-sabotage actions.
Combat training activities are also underway on other ships: now the entire ship's staff of the Baltic fleet in Baltiysk and Kronstadt is involved in exercises on a special course task K-1. It includes preparing the ship for sailing and working out the combat and daily organization in the conditions of the base.
The exercise involves the crews of a destroyer squadron, patrol ships, corvettes, small missile ships and boats, landing ships and boats, anti-submarine ships and minesweepers, patrol boats - more than 50 ships and fleet support vessels in total. After the delivery of the K-1, the ships will go to sea to perform combat training tasks with the use of weapons.

SKR (frigate) Yaroslav the Wise of project 11540 Yastreb joined the Baltic fleet in 2009. Designed to search for submarines, provide anti-ship and anti-submarine defense, strike ships and vessels at sea and bases, provide amphibious landings and other purposes. Carries a Ka-27 anti-submarine helicopter on Board.
