MOSCOW, November 25. /TASS/. The Russian defense Ministry has received the last three su-35S multi-role fighters under a five-year contract for 50 such aircraft. This was reported on Wednesday in the military Department.
"Specialists of the 485th military representation of the Russian defense Ministry have accepted three multi-purpose su-35S of the 4++generation. The aircraft were relocated from the Komsomolsk-on-Amur plant to the permanent airfields of the Russian aerospace forces, " the Ministry said.
The military Department clarified that this delivery completes a five-year contract, under which 50 su-35S are to be delivered to combat duty regiments of the Russian aerospace forces by the end of 2020.

The su-35S is a multi-purpose super-maneuverable fighter of the "4++" generation, approaching the characteristics of the 5th generation aircraft. The aircraft is designed to hit air, ground and surface targets, infrastructure objects covered by air defense systems and located at a considerable distance from the home airfield. This aircraft complex is distinguished by high maneuverability, a wide range of weapons, and intelligent crew support.
