The ceremonial ritual of the first raising of the Russian naval flag was held on November 24 on the newest serial high-speed landing boat in the city of Primorsk, Kaliningrad region.
The boat of the project 02510 type "BK-16" was built at the enterprise "Rybinsk shipyard", the information support Department of the press service of the ZVO for the Baltic fleet reported.
By order of the commander-in-Chief of the Navy, the landing boat is included in the combat structure of the Baltic fleet.
The ceremony was attended by representatives of the naval command and the Orthodox clergy. The boat successfully completed the program of factory running and state tests, during which all systems and weapons of the boat were checked.

The project 02510 high-speed amphibious transport boat is designed for the transfer and landing of troops, their fire support, participation in anti-sabotage and rescue operations, the fight against piracy and terrorism, and the transportation of light cargo.
The combat complex of the boat is a remote-controlled combat module developed by the Kalashnikov concern. The module has armor protection against 7.62-caliber b-32 bullets and is gyrostabilized along two axes, which increases the accuracy of its shooting during pitching.
