TSAMTO, November 24. After completing all ground and flight tests, as well as documentation for receiving and transferring equipment, the Ka-52 helicopters were accepted by specialists of the military mission.
Currently, combat vehicles are being prepared to be sent to places of permanent deployment.
The new Ka-52M helicopter is equipped with an upgraded optoelectronic system with an increased range of target detection and recognition, and a new digital drive that will improve the accuracy of firing the gun. The upgraded Ka-52 also received a new radar system with an active phased array antenna and an extended-range guided missile.
The Ka-52M main rotor blades are equipped with a more powerful heating element, which will allow the helicopter to operate in a wide range of temperatures, including Arctic conditions. The helicopter is equipped with a chassis with increased load-bearing capacity and wear resistance, as well as led-based lighting equipment. The upgraded Alligator has a new cockpit interior that meets modern ergonomic requirements, including when piloting at night using night vision glasses, according to the Department of information and mass communications of the Russian defense Ministry.
