TSAMTO, November 24. Belarusian defense Minister Viktor Khrenin said that the Republic plans to purchase four su-30SM aircraft and four Mi-35 helicopters next year.
"We will continue purchasing su-30SM aircraft, and next year we plan to purchase four more vehicles. In addition, we plan to purchase four Mi-35 helicopters next year (the contract with the Russian Federation for helicopters has already been signed), "the Minister said in an interview with Belarus 1 TV channel on November 23, RIA Novosti reports.
According to him, it is also planned to "re-equip two mechanized battalions with BTR-82A", and it is planned to purchase electronic communications equipment. At the same time, the Minister noted that when delivering electronic communications equipment to the troops, attention will be paid to domestic developments, the Agency notes.
