TSAMTO, November 24. The formations and military units of the Amur combined arms army of the Eastern military district (VVO) received modern devices for conducting radiation reconnaissance IMD-7.
The use of new devices will allow military personnel to significantly reduce the time to obtain the results of radiation reconnaissance. Dosimeters-radiometers IMD-7 are a modern development, they entered the Association to replace the earlier product of this type.
IMD-7 is used for operational dosimetric monitoring of the radiation situation, for drawing up radiation maps of the area and studying radiation anomalies, for detecting contamination of clothing, walls, floors, and equipment with radioactive substances as a wearable special dose rate meter, the press service of the Eastern military district reports.
