Turkey has published a video of tests of a robotic system designed to evacuate the wounded from dangerous places for humans.
The system consists of two robots: a six-wheeled platform with a retractable ramp and a miniature tracked vehicle whose task is to lay the victim on the ramp. She does this with the help of a manipulator-grabs the wounded man by the transport loop on the equipment and turns him over so that he is on the litter lowered from the ramp. It is then pulled onto the ramp, which rises and slides into the body of the conveyor. After that, a small column of a platform and a robot loader is sent to the field hospital.
The robotic platform is available in those circumstances when the staff may not be engaged, - explained the developers.
