The Russian defense Ministry has received all Ka-52 alligator combat reconnaissance and attack helicopters scheduled for delivery this year. The contract was completed on time.
Currently, the vehicles are being prepared to be sent to their permanent locations. This was reported by the press service of the Russian Helicopters holding.
The ka-52M received new equipment. This is an upgraded optoelectronic system with an increased range of detection and recognition of targets, a new digital drive that allows you to increase the accuracy of shooting from a gun. In addition, the rotorcraft is armed with a guided missile with an extended range and is equipped with a modern radar system with an active phased array antenna.
The upgraded helicopter can now be used in different temperature ranges, including in Arctic conditions - the main rotor blades are equipped with a more powerful heating element. The wheels of the chassis also became more wear-resistant. The pilot's cabin has been changed, and now he can fly in the dark with night vision glasses.
