A rare video of a new Chinese project 094B nuclear submarine armed with Intercontinental ballistic missiles has appeared on the Internet. This modification is the largest submarine built by the Chinese shipbuilding industry.
The video shows the moment when the submarine went on combat patrol accompanied by the project 054 Sanya missile frigate. The explanations for the video indicate that the newest submarine carries 12 solid-fuel ballistic missiles "Jiulan-2A", capable of hitting targets at a distance of more than 7 thousand kilometers.
The 094B differs from previous modifications in the modified hull contours and the location of the horizontal rudders. The exact characteristics of the submarine have not yet been officially published.
