As stated, the US Army has come up with a mounting kit that adds a fuse to the projectile, allowing it to detonate after discharge, as well as stabilizers that provide "aerodynamic stability." The command plans to install these systems on UAVs with a range of 20 to 40 km.
Earlier, the US Army presented the dropping of grenades from quadrocopters as a "unique technological achievement", but this publication received a lot of critical reviews, which indicated that this has long been a proven practice on the Ukrainian front. As a result, the command was forced to remove that material.
