Vigil Autonomy from the United States has developed a new Air Cover disguise designed to hide equipment and infantry from enemy drones and satellites.
The product protects against enemy gaze not only in the optical spectrum, but also in the infrared and radio ranges. In particular, the technology becomes "invisible" to thermal imaging cameras and synthetic aperture sensors that can be installed on reconnaissance drones, combat aircraft and satellites.

A special cape has 4 drones built into the corners, which hold it in the air and stretch it over the target at a maximum height of 10 m. In this mode, the "flying blanket" is able to operate for 120 minutes. In addition, the Air Cover can be deployed in a stationary version, supported by several supports.

Apparently, the embedded drones are equipped with AI, which controls the overhang of the cape over the protected object during its movement. Other characteristics of this "flying blanket" have not yet been disclosed, and the development, apparently, is in the early stages.
Western observers point to the dubious effectiveness of the Air Cover, noting that the product covers the target only from above, leaving it accessible for viewing at an angle. In this regard, it is much more practical to put equipment in a cape made of the same material, or, in the case of infantry, the use of special raincoats.
