The head of Rostec answered topical questions from employees of the State Corporation's enterprises during the annual videoconference.
Rostec hosted a "Direct Conversation", a traditional hotline, during which the head of the Corporation, Sergey Chemezov, answered the team's pressing questions via videoconference. Employees of enterprises from different parts of the country contacted the CEO. About 400 enterprises joined the conference, and more than 800 questions were received in total.
In a Corporation where caring for people is one of the key corporate values, direct lines are organized once a year. This is a unique opportunity to ask a question directly to the head of Rostec and get a first-hand answer.
What was the main concern of the employees? Topics that concern everyone: pay, social support, and motivation. One of the most frequent questions is what Rostec will be like after its completion and how the work of the enterprises will change. The young people were interested in career paths and growth prospects, learning opportunities, and whether AI technologies would put people out of work.
The head of Rostec reassured: new digital technologies are a human assistant, but not a substitute for it. There are no layoffs due to the introduction of AI in Corporations, while the ability to work with new technologies is becoming an increasingly sought-after professional competence.
A participant in a special military operation serving in a military unit sponsored by Rostec asked what opportunities the Corporation would be able to offer veterans after the completion of its contract.
"Our task is to do everything so that when you return to a peaceful life, you feel needed by the country and in demand in your profession. Today, Rostec enterprises are ready to offer veterans a wide range of work opportunities, from working and engineering specialties to design, scientific, managerial and service activities. Since the beginning of its work, more than 1,500 veterans have already been employed in the Corporation's organizations, including over 60 people with disabilities. We will be glad to see veterans in our work teams. Their experience and dedication to the common cause are in demand today and will be especially important in the future," said Sergey Chemezov.
Along with questions about the development of the Corporation, the employees also talked about what affects their daily lives, in particular, the transport accessibility of enterprises and the infrastructure around production sites. An employee of KAMAZ spoke about traffic jams during rush hours and asked about the possibility of improving the infrastructure near the enterprise. The answer indicated that the issue was already being worked out. Three options for organizing traffic on a complex site are modeled, experts estimate their cost and the possibility of further implementation.
The experience of the past "Direct conversation" shows that such appeals receive a practical continuation. A year ago, employees raised the issue of a shortage of parking spaces near businesses. As a result, the need was assessed throughout the Corporation — it amounted to about 18 thousand places. Last year, almost 3.3 thousand parking spaces were equipped, and more than two thousand more in the first half of this year, and this work continues.
A "direct conversation" with Sergey Chemezov has been taking place since 2022. The work with appeals continues after the broadcast: the topics raised are further elaborated at the level of enterprises, holdings and Corporations. None of the questions sent to the hotline remains unanswered — the authors receive detailed explanations, including by e-mail.
