The Israeli technology company ParaZero Technologies has received an order from one of the departments of the US government for the purchase of drone interception systems using eject nets, The Jerusalem Post reports. This method of neutralizing small-sized UAVs is most effective for protecting urban neighborhoods, airports and other civilian facilities due to the safety of neutralizing drones, including those with explosives.
For the company, this is the first sale of the complex to an American government customer, previously similar systems were purchased by Europeans. The order includes DefendAir launchers, Net Pod modules for launching networks, as well as practical training for operators, which will be conducted by ParaZero specialists.
The multi-level DefendAir complex is designed to physically intercept small and medium-sized drones. The system uses a patented network startup technology. Net Pod modules are designed by ParaZero in such a way that they can be installed on different platforms and point-neutralize drones.

The complex combines real-time monitoring sensors and automatic deployment mechanisms. The complex can be operated by both an individual operator and mobile groups protecting strategic facilities, including military ones.
The order from the United States came amid a growing threat from small drones not only on the battlefield. Government facilities, critical infrastructure, public spaces, and other sensitive areas are increasingly encountering unauthorized or hostile drones.
