In 2026, the Moscow and Tver regions were chosen for a large-scale event that unites people in love with the sky: the 6th I. P. Volk Children's Aviation and Space Salon (DAKS-2026).
On August 8, the DAX flight program took place at the Borki airfield in Kimry. Samples of aviation equipment were presented, and workshops for children on aircraft modeling and drone control were held.

The guests of honor at the salon were test cosmonaut Oleg Blinov, Honored Test Pilot, Hero of the Soviet Union Vladimir Nikolaevich Kondaurov and other representatives of the aviation and space industries.
An important part of the program was the static exposition. An exhibition of retro cars was presented at the airfield, which included about 25 exhibits. Yakovlev PJSC and the Vadim Zadorozhny Museum of Technology took part in the salon. This was an opportunity for the guests not only to see samples of aviation and automotive equipment, but also to learn more about the history of the Russian aircraft industry, design schools and the people who shaped Russian aviation.
Visitors were able to chat with test pilots, take part in contests and quizzes, visit interactive zones and a military-patriotic exposition. The highlight of the program was the airshow.

On August 22, the second part of DAX-2026 was officially opened in the city of Zhukovsky. The opening ceremony was attended by Deputy Chairman of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation Anna Kuznetsova, Hero of Russia, Honored Test Pilot Pavel Vlasov, Mayor A. Pak, residents of Zhukovsky.
This year, workshops on creating aircraft models, controlling drones, and assembling rockets were prepared for visitors. The interactive zones were supported by teachers and students of Zhukovsky Aviation College named after V.A. Kazakov and leading technical universities, including MAI, MEPhI and Bauman Moscow State Technical University.

The salon's guests were presented with an exhibition of aviation equipment, motor vehicles, and an exposition of models of historical and modern weapons. There were quizzes, contests and drone racing competitions. A business program was provided for senior schoolchildren and students with the participation of university representatives and industry specialists.
The Children's Aviation and Space Salon is a celebration for the whole family, and a significant educational initiative aimed at introducing the younger generation to aviation and space professions.

The event was organized by the Armada Sports and Patriotic Union and the commission of the United Russia General Council for the Protection of Motherhood, Childhood and family support.
