According to the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Russian troops continue to improve unmanned systems. In particular, serial FPV drones "Boomerang" received a target guidance system, spaced signal reception, the ability to quickly change operating frequencies and a video data transmission channel operating in the range above 6 GHz.
Also, according to the Ukrainian military, the Russian Armed Forces are actively trying to switch to using new frequency ranges in the spectra, which are not yet covered by most UAV detectors equipped with the Armed Forces of Ukraine.:
Against this background, the Ukrainian company Tactical Technology has developed an active protection complex SOVA-1.0, designed to detect and physically defeat UAVs by creating several counteraction lines. It provides electronic and optical detection of targets; interception of analog video signal; suppression of target control channels; the ability to defeat drones.

The FlyOff software and hardware complex, using remote directional antennas on masts, performs radio frequency detection at a distance of up to 10 km, working exclusively on reception. It analyzes signatures (communication protocols, waveforms, frequency jumps and timings of data packets), identifying the drone, and is able to intercept the analog video signal, recreating the picture that the enemy operator sees. At close range, FlyOff begins to determine the exact direction of movement of the incoming threat.
The Blood Seeker AESA radar system, operating at a distance of up to 1800 m, is responsible for detecting UAVs by reflecting radio waves. The SOVA complex provides direct optical viewing of targets at a distance of up to 150 m.

The MOROK-4X and MOROK-1X electronic warfare modules are responsible for counteraction, providing pinpoint electronic radiation suppression of UAV control channels at a distance of up to 200 m. In turn, the ZHNETS-223/12 system is responsible for automatically aiming firearms at a distance of up to 100 m. The ZOREPAD-6P complex operates at a distance of up to 50 m, releasing trap nets from mortars.
